Operating in the brushware, mops, buckets, sponges, wipes and scourers markets Oates is a major force in cleaning products.

The business was formed in the early years of the twentieth century and has expanded through both internally generated growth and acquisition. Through its Oates brand, the business is well known by consumers and professional users alike.

Its broad product range is distributed through most of Australia's major grocery, hardware and mass merchant retailers as well as through commercial and industrial cleaning products specialists.
