GUD operates in four discrete business segments:

• Consumer products incorporating Sunbeam small electrical appliances and Oates cleaning hardware products.
  
  
• Automotive products including Ryco, Cooper and Wesfil air, oil and fuel filters, Goss replacement fuel pumps and carburettor kits.
  
  
• Water products comprising Davey pumps and water pressure systems, swimming pool equipment, spa pool components, Steriflo and Filterpure water treatment systems and Monarch Series swimming pool products.
  
  
• Security products including Lock Focus locks for metal furniture and garage doors, Kiroo and Emka hardware for electrical cabinets and Locktech safes and secure filing cabinets.

In each of these segments GUD's businesses market a blend of own-manufactured and sourced product ranges.

Through the diversity of its activities GUD services a broad customer base, including most leading retailers in Australia and New Zealand. The Group's customers include department stores, mass merchants, hardware outlets, specialist electrical retailers, automotive aftermarket wholesalers and resellers, water systems dealers, swimming pool builders, retail pool shops, lock smiths and original equipment manufacturers.

Through Davey and Lock Focus, the GUD Group has a growing presence in export markets, servicing a range of customers in Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and North America.
